Allied logistics recently donated a $1,000 scholarship to a
graduate of Riverheads High School outside Staunton, Va.
Lynn Hite was among
28 students recognized by the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce. The students
were ranked in the top 5 percent of their classes and participated in multiple
activities such as marching band, the school newspaper, yearbook, governor’s
school, the foreign language or drama club or sports, among other activities.
The list of eligible students was winnowed to 15 who received
$1,000 scholarships from area businesses or personal donations. Chamber member

“We believe in committing to our communities,” said Rebecca
