Reo Hatfield elected to NMFTA's Classification Resource Committee

Reo Distribution President Reo Hatfield has been elected to the Classification Resource Committee (CRC) of the the National Motor Freight Traffic Association. The CRC provides information and other resources to the Commodity Classification Standards Board on matters relating to the content of the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC). It provides information on classification research activities, the transportation characteristics of products moving via motor carrier and on motor carrier operations. The CRC may make recommendations and give advice regarding the Policies and Directives for developing and maintaining the NMFC.
Hatfield's long career in the field of transportation logistics began with nearly two decades as part of the Smith's Transfer team before founding Reo Distribution in 1988. Applying his substantial experience in all phases of transportation, he has built the company into a multi-million dollar Total Logistics provider that manages several major manufacturers' transportation and supply chain logistics programs.
