Transportation Manager

Waynesboro, Virginia

The Transportation Manager is responsible for all activity involving rolling inventory-local and over-the-road trucks, drivers and dispatch. The person in this role will monitor and maintain all equipment, provide efficient, cost-effective transportation for all clients at a profit, operate the fleet with safe, responsible drivers, and work with Safety to make the fleet compliant with government regulations. The Transportation Manager will also be the primary point of contact for drivers’ and clients’ questions, concerns and queries. This person will work with Brokerage, Sales and Strategic Account Managers as needed to provide information and feedback about interactions with internal and external REO employees and clients.

Warehouse Yard Crew

Waynesboro, Virginia

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Load/Unload Trailers

o Picking/Receiving (in RF Gun)

o Load/Signature Verification

o Safety checks (PPE, etc.)

o Clean yard

o Chain/Unchain units

o Wood bracing/securement

o Assist in loading/unloading (IE: guide the units)

o Bagging units

o Wood cutting

o Order accessories (boxes, pump packages, etc.) staging prior to shipment

o Final order paperwork check

o Other duties as assigned
